তোমার এই আকুলতা
কয়েক ফোটা শব্দের জন্যই শুধু
এর বেশিতো কিছু চাওনি কখনও,
হারানোর আশঙ্কায় অনবরতই শঙ্কিত তুমি ,
তাই শব্দের সিঁড়ি বেয়ে তর তর করে ওঠো জানি
ভালোবাসা সবটুকু আবর্তিত আজ ভালোবাসা শব্দকেই ঘিরে
মরুময় মনের মুকুর মুকুলিত হবে নিত্যই তাই শব্দ প্রত্যাশী থাকো

আধ-খোলা জানালার ধারে
ঢেউ খেলানো এলো চুল মেলে নিত্যই
যে বসে থাকা তোমার চুল শুকানোর ছল করে
সেতো ফুল ফোটানোর প্রত্যয়ে দীর্ঘ প্রতীক্ষাকে করে দীর্ঘতর।
তুমি শুধু শব্দের বাটখারায় মেপে চলো ভালোবাসার সম্ভাব্য সাফল্যগুলো
আকাল যখনই পড়ে শব্দের , তখনই দড়াম করে বন্ধ কর তোমার মনের জানালাও
